The Learning Connection

GED Preparation and Testing

The Learning Connection provides small group instruction or one-on-one tutoring to help people build a better life through education at two locations in Juneau as well as in communities throughout Southeast Alaska.

TLC’s GED preparation and testing include helping people:

  • orient to the GED process
  • improve their reading, writing, and math skills
  • prepare for the GED exam
  • work with computers
  • take the GED exams

GED Alert:
Starting in 2014, there will be a new, more expensive GED test.  The current version of the GED test is expiring at the end of 2013.   Students must complete and pass all five exams before December 20, 2013 or start all over in the new GED test series.

Interested GED test-takers can call The Learning Connection (TLC) at 586-5718 (Juneau) or toll-free at 1-800-478-6660 (outside of Juneau) for more information.
