Living in a Digital World – Learn to Use the Tools for “Cloud-based” Computing and Social Networking
Meets Monday and Wednesday evenings, May 1 – May 29, from 5:00-7:00 P.M.
Course will include these and more: Google - Calendar, Drive, Sites (for web pages), Photos, Chrome Social Networking - Facebook, Pintrest, Linked-In, E-Commerce – EBay, Craigslist etc. and Security - come to all classes or pick nights covering your topic. Students attending should have a basic understanding of computers and exposure to the internet.
Introduction to Microsoft Word 2010
Meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings, May 2 – May 30, from 5:00-7:00 P.M.
This course is for students in need of a course covering Word basics; new topics covered each evening, therefore it is recommended to commit to coming to all or most classes.
Job Search, Resume Creation, Using ALEXsys, Keyboarding and Open Lab Computer Training
Open Lab - Individual and small group instruction available for computer and online job search guidance Mondays/Tuesdays 9:00-11:00 A.M. – this will be in an open lab type format – Instructor Available
ALEXsys Job Search Workshop - co-facilitated with the Juneau Job Center staff held at The Learning Connection Thursdays May 9 and May 23 from 10:00 A.M.-noon
