Last year, 118 English language learners from 35 different countries improved their reading, writing, and speaking skills.
The Learning Connection provides FREE English as a Second Language and FREE Citizenship Classes in Juneau and Sitka.
English as a Second Language classes will be offered in 3 locations again this year: Downtown (210 Ferry Way), at Gruening Park (1800 Northwood Drive, Apt G-49), and in the Valley (University of Alaska campus, room 113).
New this year is an Advanced English and Computer class offered downtown on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3pm. A citizenship class will be offered on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30pm, starting October 25.
