Adult Education

In the past five years, more than 1000 Southeast Alaska
residents earned a GED.

 

GED Alert:

The current version of the GED test is expiring at the end of 2013.  Students must complete and pass all five exams before December 20, 2013 or start over in the new GED test series. See more at www.serrc.org/ged.

 

The Learning Connection (TLC)  provides small group instruction or one-on-one tutoring to help people build a better life through education at several locations in Juneau as well as in communities throughout Southeast Alaska. 

TLC’s adult education services include helping people:

  • improve their reading, writing, and math skills
  • prepare for the GED exam along with administering the tests
  • work with computers
  • learn English as a second language
  • study for the naturalization interview
  • find and keep a job
