CIP Grant Applications
For over 30 years, CIP applications have been the foundational element of SERRC Facilities Services. SERRC has been responsible for the submission of hundreds of applications that have resulted in billions of dollars worth of funded capital projects all throughout Alaska. In this past year alone, SERRC Facilities Services submitted 74 Capital Improvement Project (CIP) grant applications totaling more than $800,000,000 on behalf of 19 different school districts.
SERRC Facilities Services can also assist districts in obtaining the additional elements required to create a successful application. We can help with Educational Specifications, and obtaining design services for Facility Condition Surveys and project design needed to obtain planning points. SERRC also assists districts with their maintenance management requirements as specified in AS14.11.011, necessary to even submit a CIP application.

A coalition of several school districts, SERRC's Computerized Maintenance Management System is an effective and cost-efficient program that enables districts to meet their individual AS 14.11.011 requirements.
