Southeast Alaska Construction Trades Academy

Attention: Youth 18 – 24 years of age who are interested in the construction trades:  

SERRC is currently applying for grant funds to hold a 2011 Construction Trades Academy.  If the grant is approved, students will be  invited to apply for the two-week Southeast Alaska Construction Trades Academy, where students learn about and practice basic carpentry skills and receive some of the certifications needed to apply for apprenticeship or a job.  Eligible applicants are graduating high school students or recent high school or GED graduates, 18-24 years old, and reside in rural Southeast Alaska. 

Travel and tuition will be paid by the grant.
