Adult Education
The Learning Connection provides small group instruction or one-on-one tutoring to help people build a better life through education at four locations in Juneau as well as in communities throughout Southeast Alaska.
TLC’s adult education services include helping people:
- improve their reading, writing, and math skills
- prepare for the GED exam along with administering the tests
- work with computers
- learn English as a second language
- study for citizenship exams
- find and keep a job
TLC's Adult Education programs are funded by the State of Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development grant,
Tlingit and Haida Central Council, and the City and Borough of Juneau.
